Dr. Madhukara H M is an accomplished Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with over 12 years of experience in managing complex cardiac cases, performing advanced coronary procedures, and mentoring future cardiologists. A gold-medalist postgraduate with an MD and DM in Cardiology, he currently serves as Assistant Professor at Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences & Research, Bengaluru, and consults at leading hospitals across South Bangalore, including Astra Super speciality Hospital.
With over 1500+ independent coronary interventions to his name, Dr. Madhukar brings unmatched expertise in high-risk angioplasties, rotablation, intravascular lithotripsy (IVL), and image-guided procedures using IVUS and OCT. His clinical spectrum also includes structural heart procedures such as ASD, VSD, PDA device closures, PTMC, and TAVI — having assisted in over 30 TAVI procedures under expert guidance. Additionally, he is highly skilled in peripheral, venous, and aortic interventions (TEVAR, EVAR).
He has been an active participant in national conferences, winning multiple accolades for clinical presentations and research papers.
