About Dr. Mangesh Kamath
Dr. Mangesh Kamath is a leading Consultant in Medical Oncology, Hematologic Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplantation with over 14 years of experience treating a wide range of solid tumors and blood cancers. A graduate of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Medical College, he pursued a DNB in Internal Medicine followed by a DM in Medical Oncology from the prestigious Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore. He also holds MRCP (UK) certification in Oncology and a European Certification in Medical Oncology (ECMO).
At Astra Super speciality Hospital, Dr. Kamath is known for his exceptional skills in managing advanced cancers using precision medicine, immunotherapy, and targeted treatments. He has successfully performed over 200 bone marrow transplants and handled rare, high-risk cases such as autologous transplantation in Jehovah’s Witness patients and CAR-T cell therapy in treatment-resistant cancers.
